Marcus began his career in financial services during a summer placement from university, having had a keen interest in finance from an early age after his grandparents set up a small investment for him with St. James's Place.

Marcus studied Business and Management with Finance at university and then worked in the Investment Management Division of St. James's Place for six years. He was drawn to providing advice and realised his future lay along this path. Marcus successfully completed his studies and graduated from the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy in 2017.

Since graduating Marcus has been providing holistic advice to individuals and business owners developing long term relationships with a broad client base. Marcus’s philosophy is one of ‘there isn’t such a thing as a typical client.’ Understanding what really matters to clients and helping them make good decisions with their finances to fulfil financial aspirations is central to his holistic, personal approach.

In 2018 Marcus gained Chartered Financial Planner status with the CII and is currently working towards achieving his Fellowship.

Alongside his passion for cars, the automotive industry and motorsport Marcus also enjoys sport, mostly golf and football alongside getting out and about with his wife Chloe and their Labrador for long walks.
