Pension service

I have been providing financial advice since I joined the industry in 1988. Since 1996 I have been providing specialist financial advice to Medical and Dental Professionals, having established my reputation in this area.

Most doctors, Surgeons and medical Practitioners enjoy a varied and rewarding career. The NHS Pension still provides excellent benefits as you progress through your career. However given recent changes to the Pension and taxation rules it seems prudent to appraise the value of your accrued Pension.

The NHS Pension scheme provides the cornerstone on which my advice is based.

I am committed to building long-term high trusted relationships with my clients, many I have known for well over 12 years.

Pension Appraisal Service

To ensure you stay ahead of the “pensions game”, it is important to regularly consider the following points:

  • Do you have a full understanding of where you currently stand in relation to these new rules?
  • Do you have a full appreciation of what you have already achieved by way of retirement provision or whether any shortfalls exist?
  • Do you understand if (or how) your current planning might be altered to better address changing legislation?

If you do feel that my services may be of help.

NHS Pension Changes 2015

As a medical professional, you are fortunate to enjoy the benefits of the NHS Pension scheme. However, as you may be aware, new pension arrangements were introduced to all public sector schemes, including the NHS Scheme from 2015.

To ensure you understand the changes, it is important to ask yourself the following questions:

  • Will I have to work longer?
  • What is a career average pension and how does it compare with a final salary pension?
  • If I am not protected, what happens to the pension I have earned until 2015?
  • Will I have to wait until my state pension age to access it?

If these are questions you haven’t yet considered, or have considered but aren’t fully aware of the answers, then please click here to learn more about how I can be of help.
